Hello again. Well we are in our last week here and it's been an absolutely brutal 2 weeks. The whole point of coming here in the first place was because we didn't get to finish the treatment last time we were here in November. All I wanted to do was get through the treatment but alas, it was not to be. We again have encountered some major obstacles. The good news though, is that we came very close to finishing the treatments before the trouble began. Lorne did all but 1 of the B17 treatments, 2 of the Vitamin C treatments, and 1 hyperthermia before the issues began.
It's all kind of a blur now, I don't really remember all the details of each day, it was all I could do just to get through it and get Lorne through it. He has been in excruciating pain since that day and has not eaten since then either. They have had him on a solution for minerals and calories as well as anti-naseau meds and something that reduces his stomach acids. Only tonight did he start feeling any better. Nothing was working on his pain and it just seemed to get worse and worse. They did xrays, blood tests, even an EKG because the pain was radiating through his chest. All came back normal! No acute underlying condition that would explain his pain.
Long story short (sort of), they think the constant vomiting has severely irritated his esophagus and this is causing his chest pain and this is coupled with a case of extreme gastro intestinal inflammation. OK, so
